Who is Outdoorsy and when did they take ownership of Bayfield Riverside RV Park?

Outdoorsy is the leading global marketplace in outdoor travel and since its launch in 2015 Outdoorsy has introduced millions of guests to the freedom of outdoor travel through its innovative marketplace for recreational vehicle rentals. Their ‘Outdoorsy Destination Network’ owns and operates campgrounds in close proximity to our nation’s most popular outdoor locations in CA, CO and Texas with a mission to restore our relationship with the outdoors and each other. It took ownership of ‘Bayfield Riverside RV Park’ in 2022 with a commitment to introduce new ways for guests to Live Outdoorsy and to invest in the local community.

How do I make a reservation?

Is Outdoorsy Bayfield family friendly?

Yes, we welcome guests of all ages at Outdoorsy Bayfield. And, with our park-like setting, wide-open spaces, and private fishing, there’s something for everyone to enjoy here.

Can I bring my pets to camp at Outdoorsy Bayfield?

Yes, we are a pet-friendly resort, but we do have some rules. You must register all pets (up to 2) with the campground office once you arrive. Never leave your furry friends unattended outside, and always keep them on a leash that’s no more than 6 feet long. You must pick up after them, of course, and dispose of the waste in a trash receptacle. And, please bring proof of their current vaccinations. We don’t always ask for these, but we’ll need them in case of an incident.

What’s the climate like in southwestern Colorado?

We have warm, dry summers and cold, snowy winters. And, about 270 days of sun every year.

What are some nearby activities?

The fishing is great, and so is the hiking. Try water sports or snow sports. In fact, if there’s an outdoor activity you love, you can probably do it here in southwest Colorado. Ride in a hot air balloon or on a horse. Attend a music festival or wine tasting. You can also explore the shops and restaurants in Bayfield, Durango, and Pagosa Springs.
